Doubt that this will help much but I believe Kokomo Arnold's "Milkcow
Blues" performed by himself was in- cluded in a Folkways three disc box
set from the early sixties called "Country Blues". It was put together
by Sam Charters in an era when this genre was *really* unappreciated.
Hell, few had even heard of Robert Johnson back then.

I have the set but its been out on loan for the last 5 or 6 years.

The set in question was called The Rural Blues and appeared in the
Folkways Record, Book and Film imprint (RBF202) in about 1961/2 and to
the best of my knowledge was the first time Arnold's Milkcow Blues
appeared on microgroove. In fact there were many 'firsts' in that
pioneering compilation.
