Message Board Archive: Thread Number 68

We have the second annual Denver Roots of the Blues festival coming up on April 17th and 18th. Great line-up: Honeyboy Edwards, Paul Rishell and Annie Raines, John Mooney(solo acoustic I hope,) Big Joe Duskin, The Swallow Hill Trio(Mary Flower,Vicki Taylor,Mollie O'Brien,) and John Weston. I was hoping the some of you easteners could fill me in on John Weston. I have to admit that I have never heard of him, can't find any recordings or any info yet. 
  By the way, I did offer Ari's name as a possible performer for this years festival. I know from your recording that you would knock some people out. We should work on it for next year. Geremia was here two weeks ago, so you can see that we do support good music out here in the hinterlands.
