Hi all, What a great place to discover/share info on a topic that gets
much kudos but little coverage from the "conventional" blues sources -
magazines. Ari, how was your trip to Berlin? I understand that the
Germans are, generally, really into American roots stuff. Any reports on
the acoustic blues music scene in Deutchland?

I found the Germans to be very receptive to early blues styles. One
thing they have there is a very active bar scene that is unlike that in
the USA in that practically everyone goes out to the bars at night. It's
a part of the social life there. Here it seems to me that most of the
people who would be interested in the early blues styles tend to stay
away from bars (me included!).
